A Greeting from the Chief Director

A happy new year! Thank you very much for using the EHS Law Bulletin Series, the English-translated Japanese Laws. We translated and published “Regulation concerning Terminology, Forms and Method of Preparation of Financial Statements, etc. 2008”, “Regulation concerning Terminology, Forms and Method of Preparation of Consolidated Financial Statements 2008”, “Penal Code & Law for Temporary Measures concerning Fine, etc. 2008”, “Foreign Exchange Order 2008”, “Trust Business Law 2008”, “Loan Trust Law 2008”, “Secured Bond Trust Law 2008”, “Family Registration Law 2008”, “Law concerning the Application of Laws in General, Nationality Law and Habeas Corpus Law, etc. 2008”, “Land Lease and House Lease Law 2008”in 2008 and also “Commercial Code & Corporation Law 2009”and “Civil Code 2009”in the beginning of this year. It is time consuming for updating the old editions to the latest editions and it is too short for us to do everything within a year with our limited management resources. However, we recognize that our business is very important for internationalizing our country, so that we want to go forward step by step with your understanding and co-operations. This is my gratitude and our latest short report to you.
